Last week the IWDD conducted an inventory of our neighborhood system to identify areas of concern. Trash is being thrown into some of the irrigation stands, so one of our first priorities will be to add covers to open stands. Homeless have also been setting up camp in the alley between Avalon and Pinchot near 44th street. PHXCares has been notified. Our new irrigator, Shari Harrington, plans to knock on doors this week to introduce herself and pass out irrigation invoices. For your convenience, I am including the payment info she provided us as well. While you are not required to use the irrigator, we strongly suggest you do. Irrigation delivery timing can be tricky, and using the neighborhood irrigation service greatly reduces street flooding and related issues.
